I looked everywhere for a small saucepan after I decided to get rid of my old one - which was a random brand from Marshall's that was nonstick and I was uncomfortable using it since there were lots of scratches. I used it every day, often twice! I'm getting married in October but couldn't wait to register for it so I just bought it outright.
Considering how much I use it, I figured it'd be a worthwhile investment (not to mention the fact that I could not find one this size in stores anywhere!) One thing I miss is that my old pot had a lid and this one does not, so if I'm making a bit of coucous or rice I need to improvise.
I wasn't sure about the metal handle but it stays remarkably cool. Now I'm looking into adding other All-Clad stainless pots to my registry!
